Life is a Joni

Not far from where I live is Tagum City , the capital of Davao del Norte . Aside from my hometown, this was the only place I'm familiar with during my school days. I studied here and took my IT diploma. As the commercial and cultural center, Tagum is one of the fastest growing cities in the region. The new City Hall is in its final phase of construction and when done, it'll be one of its kind in the country if we talk about architecture and design. As far as tourism, the city has a lot to offer. A number of shopping centers are sprouting and commerce has improved a lot. The city also observes several festivities. Among them, the Musikahan Festival is most celebrated making Tagum City the Music Capital of Mindanao . Happens every February, Musikahan showcases their excellence in arts and musical composition. Every night, several streets around the Trade Center are closed to public vehicles for it'll be filled with many chairs and tables,

Asuncion  always has a special place in my heart. This is where I was born and learned the ways of life. Its attractive landscapes always paint a vivid memory of my childhood and the faces of people around remind me of how beautiful life is. The place is primarily agricultural. It produces major crops like rice, corn, banana and more. It is also a Hall of Fame for Cleanest and Greenest Municipality of Davao del Norte . I myself grew up in a farm where there is clean, flowing water and fresh air. I used to play under the sun, chase grasshoppers and climb fruit trees with my brother. Life was simple and fun. Last time I went home, I strolled around the town using my father’s bicycle. I visited some of my friends and classmates, and few memorable places. It was a nice experience. Right now, the place has undergone a lot of changes. Many ricefields were converted into banana plantations. I can no longer see the expanse to the horizon. T
